The CIPD Foundation Learning and Development Qualification is the first building block for a career in L&D. It will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge across key areas of L&D and will give you the confidence to be more effective at work enabling you to add value to your L&D function.

Qualification Options

  • Foundation level Certificate in Learning & Development – completion of six core units (26 credits)
  • Foundation level Diploma in Learning & Development – completion of six core units plus a choice of optional units (38 credits).

Who is it for?

The foundation learning and development qualification is ideal for you if you are currently:

  • A L&D co-ordinator
  • A line manager
  • Working in training and/or a trainer
