Rules of Combination for CIPD Foundation Qualifications

Foundation Award
A free choice of units from the tables above with a minimum of 3 credits.

Foundation Level Certificate in Human Resources  Practice – Requires 28 Credits
Choose 10 credits from all core units and 18 credits from optional units, the optional choice must include 12 credits from Group A and 6 credits from Group B.

Foundation Level Diploma in Human Resources  Practice – Requires 37 Credits
Choose 10 credits from all core units and 27 credits from optional units, the optional choice must include  21 credits from Group A and 6 credits from Group B.

NEW CIPD Foundation Level Certificate in Learning and Development- Requires 26 Credits
Take all core units to a total of 26 credits
