From 2009 Busec will be offering the CIPD's new competency based certificate programmes.

Most personnel and training practitioners are aware of the certificate in personnel practice (CPP) and certificate in training practice (CTP).  These qualifications are very popular and are often seen as the foundation for a career in HR.  Up to now they have only been available through the taught route at colleges and other centres.

The CIPD is currently piloting a competence based approach, similar to the PAC process.  This is an exciting development as it will enable experienced practitioners to gain certification by demonstrating their competence in their role.

As a PAC centre with an excellent reputation we will be licensed by CIPD to deliver the suite of certificated programmes

• Certificate in Personal Practice (CPP)
• Certificate in Training Practice (CTP)
• Certificate in Recruitment & Selection (CRS)
• Certificate in Employee Relations and Law (CERLAP)
• Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring (CCM)

Each certificate programme consists of four units.  Assessment is by review of evidence presented by candidates.  Busec will provide online assessment via our e-portfolio tool.  The certificates lead to Associate membership of the CIPD.
