Julia's career started as a Royal Naval Officer and has subsequently progressed into the public and private sectors, including a spell back working for the Royal Navy as a Civil Servant.  Her career in the private and public sectors, along with working with the Military, has enabled her to experience a wide and diverse range of HR business, with her specialist area in selection, assessment and development.

Since becoming freelance Julia has had the opportunity to work with international organisations and has enjoyed the challenge of conducting development coaching with individuals from multi-cultural backgrounds.  In addition, she has facilitated several team development events with a wide range of clients.  Her aim is to specialise in assessment, development, and coaching.

Julia is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and British Psychological Level A and Level B+ qualified (OPQ, MBTA and SDI) to administer, interpret and feedback psychometric tests.  She is undertaking her NLP Practitioner training in the Spring 2009 and then aims to undertake some more formal coaching qulaifications to underpin her experience.
