On the basis of research with employers the CIPD have launched a new qualifications and membership structure to reflect the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed in todays workplace.  For information on these see the CIPD HR Profession Map.  The format and content of these qualifications offer greater flexibility to learners and to centres and will meet the requirements of the new Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) facilitating transfer of credits between qualifications.

The structure of the new CIPD qualifications allows HR professionals to be assessed through demonstrating workplace competence.  This involves providing work based evidence as well as assignments that demonstrate the pratical application of your knowledge and skills.

Busec is one of the first centres to gain approval from the CIPD to offer these new qualifications at Foundation and Advanced level.  We will be using a blended learning approach with our e-portfolio.
